SIX Group seeks a Senior Corporate Governance Counsel in Zürich to advise on governance across its global entities, support board meetings, and drive process improvements using AI tools.
This mid-level senior position supports the Head of Legal Governance and the governance teams in Switzerland and Spain. The role focuses on advising on corporate governance matters across the Group, which includes 70 entities, 21 of which are regulated by financial authorities in Switzerland, Spain, and the UK.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and draft minutes for Board and committee meetings, while managing formalities and shareholder communications.
- Provide corporate governance advice across the Group and assist with legal entity matters such as setup, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
- Review and maintain governance documents by developing policies, templates, and processes, including signature authority.
- Lead governance projects and improve workflows, including the use of AI tools.
- Maintain documentation and ensure proper archiving, while also preparing memos, presentations, and delivering training to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of corporate governance experience in Switzerland.
- Experience in establishing standards and processes across a group of legal entities incorporated in different jurisdictions.
- Fluent in English and German.
