Senior Frontend Developer

Decentriq seeks a Senior Frontend Developer in Zürich to build privacy-preserving data collaboration tools using React, TypeScript, and WebAssembly.

This position focuses on developing the primary web interface for Decentriq’s platform, which enables secure data collaboration among advertisers, retailers, and publishers. The engineer will create ambitious client-side applications that address complex privacy and data engineering challenges, allowing users to configure secure jobs and manage audiences effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of features, including design, development, and deployment of client-side applications using React and Joy UI.
• Solve intricate state-management issues within a modern, data-heavy environment.
• Develop and refine advanced client-side data processing capabilities directly in the browser via WebAssembly.
• Utilize AI-driven code assistants, design generators, and test-automation tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to align on goals and execution.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, alongside at least three years of professional experience.
• Demonstrate strong communication abilities with fluent English proficiency.
• Possess extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Be located in or willing to relocate to Zürich, committing to three days per week on-site.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools effectively while upholding high engineering standards.
• Show a proven track record of building responsive, data-intensive user interfaces through smart state management and memoization techniques.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership experience.
• Willingness to pick up some Rust for simple backend changes.
