Lombard Odier IM seeks a Senior IT Production Engineer in Geneva to manage scheduling, file transfer, and monitoring platforms as part of their IT modernization efforts.
This position supports the ongoing modernization of the IT platform and maintains the current installed base. The engineer will manage an application pool within the IT Operations department, collaborating with a team of seven colleagues based in Geneva.
Responsibilities
- Execute business requirements on alerting, scheduling, and file transfer systems.
- Evaluate incoming requests and produce detailed technical specifications.
- Contribute to and suggest improvements for existing platform capabilities.
- Enhance and automate current operational processes.
- Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support for established workflows.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
- Between two and ten years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong background in file transfer solutions, including industrial protocols and certificate management.
- Fluent command of both French and English, in writing and speech.
- Current residence in Switzerland or readiness to relocate there.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with GoAnywhere.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as OpCon or Control-M.
- Knowledge of Service Now Event Management, Nagios, SCOM, or scripting languages like PowerShell and shell.
