Zühlke Group seeks a Senior Low-Code Architect (Mendix) based in Schlieren, CH. The role focuses on leading architectural design and development of low-code solutions while integrating them with broader software landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the architectural design and creation of low-code applications, with a focus on Mendix, ensuring they fit within the wider software ecosystem.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to grasp business objectives, spot low-code opportunities, and outline integration needs.
  • Develop scalable and robust software structures using Mendix and other low-code tools, integrating them with legacy systems and external APIs.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams on low-code best practices, architectural patterns, and integration methods.
  • Explore and evaluate new low-code technologies and frameworks to drive innovation within the architecture landscape.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Mentor and coach developers to enhance their skills in low-code development and software architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of experience in software architecture.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing complex, scalable architectures using low-code platforms and external integrations.
  • Deep expertise in Mendix, including leveraging its capabilities for rapid application development and customization.
  • Strong grasp of software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable designs.
  • Solid knowledge of integration techniques such as RESTful APIs, messaging queues, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with integration approaches like ESB, API gateways, and microservices.
  • Proficiency in working with diverse systems and technologies, including integrating low-code platforms with legacy systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Willingness to work on-site at client locations as needed.
  • Strong German language skills and fluency in English (C1 level).
