Senior Manager GBS

PwC seeks a Senior Manager GBS in Zürich to lead business development, deliver GBS solutions, and drive client transformations across multiple industries.

This role sits within a technology-driven, people-focused network that supports clients in audit, assurance, tax, legal, workforce, deals, and consulting. The position aims to help organizations navigate complexity and convert it into a competitive edge by building trust and reinventing operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to improve market presence and service delivery.
• Spot and pursue new business opportunities with current and prospective clients, offering advice on global trends and strategic challenges.
• Provide end-to-end GBS solutions to executive-level stakeholders and spearhead business development activities.
• Manage project delivery in line with established quality standards and methodologies.
• Support the growth and development of the practice.
• Work with senior stakeholders across sectors such as Pharma, Financial Services, Retail, Industrial Products, and Public Services to secure high-impact projects.
• Create GBS strategies and roadmaps that centralize transformations to meet changing client demands for efficiency and control.

Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in the GBS or Outsourcing sector.
• Deep understanding of the Swiss market and a network of established client connections.
• Minimum of 10 years in consulting, with demonstrated expertise in pipeline development, project management, and leading teams.
• Successful history in GBS implementations and transformations, preferably within shared services areas like Procurement, Supply Chain, FP&A, HR, and IT.
• Flexibility to adjust to new challenges and take responsibility for assigned tasks.

Nice to have

• Background in finance transformation and process optimization is desirable.
• Knowledge of automation applications and ERP systems such as S/4HANA is beneficial.
