Senior Platform Engineer / Senior Devops Engineer

Taurus SA seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure for its digital asset platform in Geneva. The role focuses on SRE principles, automation, and managing complex cloud environments within a hybrid work model.

This position sits within the Platform & Services division of the infrastructure department at Taurus SA, a financial technology firm. The primary purpose of the role is to design, implement, and operate the underlying infrastructure that supports the company's digital asset platform. The successful candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of production, testing, and development environments, ensuring they remain resilient, efficient, and available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and operational efficiency for production systems.
• Manage services across development, testing, and production stages, including monitoring, alerting, and on-call support.
• Design and implement scalable, cost-effective infrastructure solutions covering cloud services, networking, and storage.
• Ensure system resilience and handle incident management in line with SRE best practices.
• Integrate new solutions into existing production environments while managing releases and product lifecycles.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience operating services in complex, high-demand organizational settings.
• Strong grasp of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts, including automation, performance tuning, and incident response.
• Proficiency with modern DevOps tools such as Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, and Shell scripting.
• Demonstrated experience in build processes, testing workflows, release management, and product lifecycle oversight.
• Ability to plan, deploy, and operate both simple and complex technical solutions.
• Solid background in database manipulation (SQL) and software development, ideally in Go, Java, or Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
