Taurus SA seeks a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer to manage infrastructure for its digital asset platform in Geneva, Zurich, or Lausanne. The role focuses on SRE principles, automation, and large-scale cloud systems within a hybrid work model.
This position sits within the Platform & Services department of a dynamic financial technology firm. The engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure that supports the company's digital asset platform, owning the entire lifecycle from development through testing to production environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high availability and efficiency for production systems.
- Operate services across development, testing, and production stages, ensuring robust monitoring, alerting, resilience, and on-call support.
- Architect and manage scalable, cost-effective infrastructure solutions, including cloud services, networking, and storage.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience operating services in complex organizational environments.
- Strong grasp of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts, including automation, performance tuning, monitoring, and incident handling.
- Proficiency with modern DevOps tools such as Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, and Shell scripting.
- Demonstrated experience in DevOps build pipelines, release management, and product lifecycle processes.
- Capability to plan, deploy, and integrate both simple and complex solutions into existing production setups.
- Knowledge of database manipulation (SQL) and software development, ideally in Go, Java, or Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
