Platform Engineer / Devops Engineer

Taurus SA seeks a Mid-level Platform/DevOps Engineer in Geneva to build and maintain infrastructure for its digital asset platform within a hybrid work model.

This position sits within the Platform & Services department, supporting a dynamic financial technology setting. The engineer will construct and manage the underlying infrastructure that drives the digital asset platform, taking ownership of the entire lifecycle across development, testing, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and operational efficiency for production systems.
• Provide comprehensive support for services across all environments, focusing on monitoring, alerting, resilience, and on-call duties.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud services, networking, and storage, with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of practical experience in service operations, preferably in high-demand sectors.
• Understanding of SRE methodologies, including automation, monitoring, and incident handling.
• Practical knowledge of modern DevOps tools such as Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, and Shell.
• Familiarity with build pipelines, testing processes, release management, and product lifecycle workflows.
• Capability to deploy solutions and integrate them into existing production setups.
• Basic experience with SQL database manipulation and software development in Go, Java, or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with multiple DevOps tools is advantageous.
• A desire to further develop expertise in SRE principles.
