Senior Privacy & AI Governance Specialist (temporary position)

SIX Group seeks a Senior Privacy & AI Governance Specialist for an 8-10 month temporary role in Zürich. The position focuses on data protection compliance and responsible AI frameworks within a hybrid work model.

This temporary role, lasting approximately eight to ten months, is designed to help shape the future of data protection and responsible artificial intelligence. The specialist will act as a key advisor to business, IT, and corporate functions, ensuring that digital initiatives and AI use cases align with regulatory standards while supporting the organization's broader privacy goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams on data protection matters, specifically regarding GDPR and Swiss DSG regulations.
• Execute core Data Protection Officer duties, such as managing data breaches, handling data subject requests, and performing regulatory assessments.
• Conduct and review Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA), and other risk evaluations related to personal data processing.
• Provide practical compliance guidance for projects, including digital initiatives and AI applications.
• Help develop and implement AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices.
• Support organization-wide awareness and training activities.
• Collaborate closely with an international team of privacy and compliance experts.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in data protection, privacy, or compliance, ideally within a complex or regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and Swiss data protection regulations.
• Experience with DPO-related activities and a pragmatic, business-oriented approach.
• Fluency in English and German (both required).

Nice to have

• Solid understanding or strong interest in AI governance and emerging regulatory requirements.
