Senior SAP O2C/OTC Consultant

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Senior SAP O2C/OTC Consultant in Zürich for on-site work. The role focuses on implementing and optimizing Order-to-Cash solutions in SAP ECC or S/4HANA.

This position centers on the full lifecycle of SAP Order-to-Cash solutions, from initial analysis and design through to implementation and ongoing maintenance. The consultant acts as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, collaborating with various teams to ensure that SAP configurations effectively support sales, billing, and credit management processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete implementation projects for Order-to-Cash workflows, handling system setup, customization, and integration with other SAP components.
• Evaluate current Order-to-Cash operations to pinpoint inefficiencies and propose technical solutions that improve speed and accuracy.
• Partner with business stakeholders to collect functional requirements and convert them into detailed technical designs that meet organizational goals.
• Deliver high-level support for SAP O2C modules, troubleshooting issues to maintain system reliability and performance.
• Spearhead change management efforts, including creating documentation, training users, and providing support after system go-live.
• Identify and lead initiatives for process automation, system upgrades, and overall optimization within the Order-to-Cash cycle.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure all SAP solutions remain compliant with current best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• Significant professional experience in implementing and supporting SAP Order-to-Cash modules, covering both functional and technical dimensions.
• Strong proficiency with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, specifically within the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) areas.
• Demonstrated history of managing SAP projects from start to finish, including configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes, such as sales order handling, pricing strategies, billing, invoicing, credit checks, and revenue recognition.
• Fluent command of German and excellent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Valid SAP certification for relevant modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP integration platforms like PI/PO or CPI.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
