Software Development Team Leader

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Senior Software Development Team Leader in Zurich for a financial services client. This hybrid role combines hands-on coding with team management.

This position is based in Zurich and operates on a hybrid model for a client within the financial services sector. The primary purpose of the role is to guide a small development group while actively contributing to technical decisions and code production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a group of six to eight software engineers.
• Engage in architectural planning and system design activities.
• Write code directly using C# .NET or React technologies.
• Handle high-level communication and relationship management with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading software development teams.
• Strong practical background in .NET, C#, and preferably React.
• Ability to balance managerial duties with active technical contribution.
• Fluency in German and Swiss German.
• Competent English language skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with emerging fields like Artificial Intelligence or cloud infrastructure.
