Software Engineer Odoo

Infomaniak seeks a Mid-level Software Engineer to integrate internal tools with the Odoo ecosystem, focusing on Python development, automated testing, and technical documentation in a hybrid role based in Les Acacias, CH.

This position centers on connecting internal applications to the Odoo platform. The engineer will handle automated testing, performance checks, and technical documentation to ensure smooth integration and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data flows between internal tools and the Odoo platform.
• Execute automated tests and assess system performance.
• Draft technical documentation and distribute best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Python development within the Odoo environment, including ORM, API, QWeb, and OWL.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, such as accounting plans, matching, and taxes.
• Proficiency in using APIs to link Odoo with external systems, including REST API, JSON-RPC, and Webhooks.
• Advanced skills in PostgreSQL for query optimization and database management.
• Capability to convert business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BI or financial reporting tools.
• Prior contributions to the OCA (Odoo Community Association) community.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
