This position supports research into ecological neuroscience as part of the Simons Collaboration on Ecological Neuroscience. The role operates within the team led by Professor Mackenzie Mathis, based in Geneva, Switzerland, aiming to merge artificial intelligence with neuroscience to understand mechanisms underlying adaptive sensorimotor behavior.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software systems for scientific research.
- Collaborate effectively with scientists and research engineers.
- Build and scale systems in both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Apply Python and machine learning technologies to support research goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least three years of experience with Python and machine learning technologies.
- Minimum of two years in professional software development.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with scientific teams.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Experience working with scientists and other research engineers.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science.
