Software Engineer

Proteus Consulting GmbH seeks a Mid-level Software Engineer to develop and maintain the ProteusEngage SaaS platform. The role focuses on Java/Kotlin development, integrating third-party services, and collaborating with design teams to enhance product features.

As part of the ProteusEngage product team, the Software Engineer will drive innovation within a scalable SaaS environment. The position involves building dynamic modules and integrating the platform with leading communication and sales solutions to support complex B2B sales and account growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team and customer feedback to build high-value, user-friendly product features.
• Research and suggest solutions to achieve strategic product line goals.
• Expand the ProteusEngage platform by integrating it with major platforms such as Salesforce, Twilio, and AWS.

Requirements

• Over five years of experience in Java development.
• Proven background in server-side web software within the Java ecosystem, particularly using Java and Kotlin.
• Solid fundamentals in client-side JavaScript coding.
• Professional experience working with relational databases.
• A positive, outgoing personality with strong virtual communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities with a focus on fixing issues.
• Coachable mindset and a desire to contribute to a high-performing team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and demands simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience with VueJS.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
• Familiarity with PostgresQL.
