Software Engineer – Customer Experience

isolutions seeks a Mid-level Software Engineer in Zurich to build modern business applications within the Microsoft ecosystem using C#, .NET, and Azure services.

This position centers on developing contemporary business solutions and system integrations within the Microsoft technology stack. The engineer will collaborate with a supportive team to create innovative software that helps clients achieve their operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Create modern business applications and custom extensions utilizing C#, .NET, and TypeScript.
  • Develop business logic and connect Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and legacy enterprise systems.
  • Build integrations using Azure components like Service Bus, Logic Apps, and other cloud-based tools.
  • Participate in agile Scrum teams to design technical solutions and coordinate tasks via Azure DevOps.
  • Maintain high code standards by applying SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and conducting pull request reviews.
  • Assess emerging technologies to enhance customer solutions and share insights with the engineering group.
  • Collaborate with Swiss-based teams and exchange knowledge with architects, consultants, and Microsoft MVPs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software development using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
  • Familiarity with modern web frameworks such as TypeScript, Angular, or React.
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a comparable qualification.
  • Fluent German proficiency and competent English communication skills.
  • Residence in Zurich, Bern, or Basel, with readiness to travel across Switzerland.

Nice to have

  • Prior exposure to Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, or Azure Services.
