Roger Dubuis seeks a Mid-level Software Engineer within the Cartier Data Office to bridge data engineering and business value through full-stack development and ML operationalization.

Positioned within the Cartier Data Office, this role serves as the critical link between advanced data capabilities and tangible business outcomes. The engineer is responsible for end-to-end software development, focusing on operationalizing machine learning models and transforming data insights into functional, high-performance applications that drive value.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build complete software solutions, covering both server-side logic and client-side interfaces.
  • Develop and sustain microservices and REST APIs to make data and ML capabilities accessible.
  • Partner with Data Scientists and Engineers to deploy machine learning models and data pipelines into production.
  • Manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Guarantee that all software complies with group security protocols, standards, and AI regulations.
  • Develop standardized project templates and reusable libraries to speed up time-to-market.
  • Create business-ready applications, high-performance microservices, and internal tools.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in full-stack or backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI.
  • Solid knowledge of standard frontend web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Run and GKE, along with modern deployment workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively within large, matrixed organizational structures.
