Specialist, Large-Scale Industrial Technology Adoption

Forum Fribourg SA seeks a Specialist for Large-Scale Industrial Technology Adoption in Geneva. The role focuses on data science, industrial transformation, and implementing the Lighthouse Operating System at a national level.

This position operates at the intersection of data science, industrial transformation, and ecosystem engagement. The specialist drives the next phase of the Lighthouse Operating System by translating global principles into national applications and owning the analytical and implementation workstreams behind these deployments.

Responsibilities

• Execute data science tasks such as building models, preparing datasets, and conducting diagnostics and benchmarks.
• Document implementation insights by creating toolkits, dashboards, methodologies, and case studies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including technology teams, engineering groups, country counterparts, and external partners.
• Facilitate the rollout of national manufacturing transformation blueprints aligned with the Lighthouse Operating System.
• Lead workstreams involving assessments, data modeling, benchmarking, and readiness diagnostics.
• Utilize and enhance a digital platform for end-to-end data ingestion, analysis, visualization, and deployment.
• Adapt global frameworks into practical approaches suitable for national and regional contexts.
• Contribute to an AI-enabled global knowledge asset.
• Ensure consistency and quality of data, content, and tools by coordinating inputs across technology teams and partners.
• Support workshops, technical sessions, and working groups with governments and industry partners.

Requirements

• University degree in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data tooling.
• Experience working with or alongside product and engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to digital platforms.
• Familiarity with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with cloud data environments like AWS, Azure, or Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and supply chains as systems.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or operations contexts.
• Ability to present technical work clearly to senior, non-technical audiences.
• Strong slide-making and storytelling skills.
• Arabic language proficiency.
