Stability Coordinator/Sample Management Specialist

Coopers Group AG seeks a Stability Coordinator/Sample Management Specialist in Basel for a full-time, on-site role. The position focuses on coordinating stability studies and sample handling within a GMP-regulated laboratory.

The company is looking for a detail-oriented professional to support stability studies in a GMP-regulated laboratory. This role involves coordinating sample handling activities, maintaining precise documentation, and facilitating smooth collaboration across various departments to ensure efficient laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage sample retrieval, labeling, and documentation for stability studies.
• Log incoming samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sample flow and storage.
• Handle staging tasks including packaging, labeling, and preparing necessary documentation.
• Update and maintain accurate data within the Laboratory Execution System (LES).
• Organize and manage the storage of stability study boxes in designated chambers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for sample management processes.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, health guidelines, cGMP regulations, and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• A degree in Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent practical training as an analytical laboratory technician.
• At least three years of experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical sector, with a preference for candidates having background in sample management or laboratory operations.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry practices and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with LIMS and/or LES systems.
• Ability to communicate in German.
