Structured Product Engineer

The company seeks a Mid-level Structured Product Engineer in Geneva to manage post-trade services, automate booking processes, and develop Excel/Python tools for the EMEA team.

This position supports the EMEA team by handling the booking and lifecycle monitoring of flow-based structured products. The role bridges communication between bankers, middle office, and back office while driving automation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the booking workflow for new flow products and monitor their lifecycle.
• Provide post-trade support for the EMEA region, including product creation in internal systems and mapping to team tools.
• Serve as the main contact between bankers, middle office, and back office to coordinate activities.
• Identify and suggest improvements for both manual and automated tasks.
• Create, maintain, and enhance Excel-based tools to support daily operations.
• Drive digital process enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Automate parts of the booking process.
• Price structured products within a secure operational framework.
• Ensure best execution aligns with regulatory standards.
• Manage issuer relationships and seek internal group synergies.
• Support the Solutions activity when needed.
• Design, analyze, and select tactical trading ideas and market opportunities.
• Promote new payoffs within subscription products.
• Offer expertise and support to internal partners and clients.
• Take initiative to meet quantitative targets for the structured products business.
• Build and maintain relationships with private bankers.
• Foster internal synergies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Financial Markets.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Structured Products field.
• Swiss residence permit.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Python.
• Strong knowledge of Pandas and NumPy packages.
• Proven experience in project development or automation using data management and analysis skills.
