Supply Specialist

VAT Vakuumventile AG seeks a Supply Specialist in Haag, CH, to manage supplier setup, NPI purchasing, and supply chain concepts for new product introductions.

This position supports the global leader in high-performance vacuum valves by ensuring smooth transitions from new product development to production. The role focuses on establishing supplier relationships, managing initial purchasing, and optimizing supply chain processes to meet delivery targets and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

• Establish supplier profiles and handle initial procurement for new product introductions, including cost and inventory control
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies to facilitate the smooth launch of new products into manufacturing
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to maintain clear communication and guarantee punctual deliveries
• Keep logistics master data accurate and ensure proper integration with MRP systems
• Track new product introduction orders and take proactive steps to guarantee timely shipments
• Oversee and advance the NPI Product Approval Workflow within Dynamics 365
• Spot opportunities for process enhancements to boost efficiency and lower expenses
• Predict potential supply disruptions, create mitigation plans, and monitor key performance indicators while adhering to compliance standards

Requirements

• University degree in supply chain management, procurement, project management, or comparable hands-on experience
• Background in supply chain, procurement, or project purchasing, preferably within an industrial setting
• Knowledge of supply chain strategies, cost structures, and multi-sourcing methods
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP platforms, with Dynamics 365 experience being advantageous
• Analytical and structured approach with a solution-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of working both autonomously and within a team
• Strong organizational capabilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Fluency in German and solid proficiency in English
