Sustainability Manager - Pharma

Quantis seeks a Senior Sustainability Manager for the Pharmaceuticals sector in Lausanne, CH. The role involves managing client relationships, driving business growth, and leading projects in a hybrid work environment.

This role focuses on client engagement within the Pharmaceuticals sector, supporting revenue growth and market presence through tailored account strategies aligned with sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and manage major accounts and complex projects in the Pharmaceuticals sector.
• Drive business growth by building strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and securing new clients.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and junior team members to deliver high-impact sustainability projects.
• Mentor junior colleagues and may take on line management responsibilities.
• Support project delivery and client relationship management across the Pharmaceuticals sector.

Requirements

• 4 to 8+ years of relevant experience, including sustainability or consulting for Pharma/Life Sciences companies.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Analytical, science-based mindset with intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to coach, teach, and mentor team members.
• Confident and critical use of generative AI tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with additional corporate sustainability topics or sectors beyond Pharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks relevant to the Pharma industry.
• French and/or German language skills.
