Technical Documentation Expert (m/f/d)

The company seeks a Technical Documentation Expert for unmanned helicopter systems in Zurich. The role involves creating technical documentation, ensuring compliance, and supporting training programs.

This position focuses on producing clear and compliant documentation for advanced unmanned helicopter systems, facilitating knowledge transfer between engineering and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update user manuals, maintenance guides, and system specifications for unmanned helicopter platforms.
• Add CAD-generated detailed views and visual aids to support written instructions.
• Edit and refine documents to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards.
• Partner with engineering, quality assurance, and production groups to gather technical data and reflect system capabilities.
• Manage structured documentation repositories, including version control and stakeholder access.
• Verify that all technical materials meet aviation regulations and quality requirements.
• Develop training materials and assist in creating internal and customer-facing programs for operations and maintenance.
• Enhance documentation processes and suggest best practices for technical writing.
• Provide support to cross-functional teams while upholding quality standards.
• Engage in international projects and travel when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven background in technical writing or documentation engineering, ideally within aerospace or UAV sectors.
• Strong writing and editing abilities, with a knack for translating complex technical data into clear content.
• Analytical mindset paired with solid technical comprehension.
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organizational abilities, including experience with documentation repositories and version control.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland, requiring Swiss or EU citizenship.
