Technical Product Manager - Code Quality (f/m/d)

Sonar seeks a Technical Product Manager to lead the code quality vision for its SonarQube suite in Geneva. The role combines deep technical expertise in static analysis with product strategy to help developers write better software.

This position sits within the Product Management team and is responsible for defining the vision and roadmaps for SonarQube Cloud, SonarQube Server, and the IDE plugin. The primary objective is to shape the code quality offering, ensuring that users can produce reliable and maintainable code through effective product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision for code quality to internal and external stakeholders.
• Research, clarify, and prioritize opportunities to build and maintain an effective product roadmap.
• Engage with users and customers on the product forum to provide support, integrate feedback, and identify new opportunities.
• Develop a deep understanding of code quality and how to enable developers to write more reliable and maintainable software.
• Work closely with other product managers to design cross-product features.
• Align with engineering and UX teams on problems to solve and support them during end-to-end development.
• Sync with engineering teams to ensure a balance between innovation, consolidation, and stability.
• Help the Product Management team grow in its organization, tools, and processes.

Requirements

• Passionate about software development and principles/practices for reliable and maintainable applications.
• Deep understanding of code quality in at least one programming language or ecosystem.
• Technical comprehension of architectures related to code scanning and static analysis.
• Experience in software product management, preferably in an agile context.
• Highly autonomous and pragmatic.
• Open-minded and very positive can-do attitude.
• Comfortable in dealing with change, complexity, and uncertainty.
• Self-confident enough to challenge the status quo and receive feedback.
• Leadership: ability to take initiative and lead a subject from beginning to end.

• Experience with the latest developments in AI assisted coding.
