Platform Product Manager

Sonar is seeking a Mid-level Platform Product Manager in Geneva to shape the vision and roadmap for its core infrastructure, bridging customer needs with technical execution.

This position operates at the crossroads of essential platform infrastructure and user requirements. The successful candidate will join the Product Management team to define and advance the strategic vision and development roadmaps for Sonar's core platform.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and communicate the strategic direction of the platform to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, validate, and prioritize key initiatives to maintain a robust roadmap centered on customer trust and platform stability.
  • Engage directly with users via the product forum to gather feedback, provide support, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Analyze customer-facing platform demands, such as data residency, access controls, and performance, to help organizations scale effectively.
  • Collaborate with fellow product managers to architect foundational features that span multiple products.
  • Partner with engineering and UX teams to define system and usability challenges, supporting solutions through the entire development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with engineering to balance innovation, consolidation, and system stability.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Product Management team's structure, tools, and workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong passion for enterprise software operability and practices that ensure secure, highly available applications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of core platform pillars, including data isolation, customer-managed encryption, design systems, API best practices, and global performance optimization.
  • Technical grasp of self-hosted deployments, cloud-native environments, multi-region setups, and data residency frameworks.
  • Awareness of recent advancements in AI-assisted coding and their influence on platform scalability.
  • Background in software product management, with a preference for experience managing platform products within agile frameworks.
  • Highly autonomous and pragmatic approach, with a strong focus on resolving external customer issues.
  • Positive, open-minded attitude with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to navigate change, complexity, and uncertainty with ease.
  • Confidence to question established norms and openness to receiving feedback.
  • Leadership capabilities, demonstrated by taking initiative and guiding projects from inception to completion.
