Trust Officer

Capital Trustees AG seeks a Trust Officer in Lugano to enhance the visibility of its international trust operations in Emerging Eurasia and support wealth planning for high-net-worth clients.

As a regulated trustee company licensed by Finma, Capital Trustees AG is looking for a professional to boost the recognition of its international trust business within the global wealth management sector. The position focuses on strengthening market presence in Emerging Eurasia and assisting the team with wealth planning for existing clients in the Middle East and Asia.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the market visibility and reputation of the company's international trust services in Emerging Eurasia.
• Build and maintain professional networks with legal, banking, accounting, and tax professionals in markets including Kazakhstan, Turkey, Armenia, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.
• Assist the team in managing wealth planning strategies for current clients located in the Middle East and Asia.

Requirements

• Approximately five years of experience in trust and wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• Prior work experience within a trust company, law firm, or family office specializing in private clients.
• Strong understanding of wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals, with specific knowledge in arts, collectibles, real estate, and shipping.
• Familiarity with legal aspects of private investments, real estate transactions, and corporate holdings, including contract drafting, due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
• Possession of an LL.M. degree.
• Knowledge of Sharia Law and its application in wealth planning.
• Fluency in English, Italian, and Russian, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in a fourth language.
• TEP qualification.
