Visual Designer Graduate (Remote - Work from Anywhere)

Xapo seeks a Junior Visual Designer for a fully remote contract role. The position focuses on creating marketing assets, motion graphics, and brand visuals for a global, distributed team.

This role is designed for an early-career designer to join a cross-functional team and help bring the Xapo brand to life. The ideal candidate will produce marketing assets, motion pieces, and visuals while growing within a remote-first, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Design marketing and brand materials, including social media content, campaign visuals, advertisements, and promotional items.
• Create motion graphics and animations for digital platforms, ranging from social posts to product walkthroughs.
• Produce visual content to support campaigns and content needs by utilizing the existing image library.
• Collaborate with marketing and design stakeholders to understand project briefs and deliver on them.
• Maintain brand consistency across all outputs, working within and helping evolve the visual identity.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback, balancing quality with turnaround speed.
• Work with world-class designers to evolve the brand visual language.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio demonstrating visual craft, even if the work consists of personal projects, university assignments, or freelance work.
• Proficiency in Figma for design and layout work.
• Hands-on experience with motion tools such as Rive, Lottie, Principle, or After Effects.
• Experience using Midjourney (or comparable AI image generation tools) to produce creative assets.
• An interest in 3D design, whether through Blender, Spline, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks across different teams.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• A dedicated workspace.
• A reliable internet connection with the fastest speed possible in your area.

Nice to have

• 0–1 year of professional experience; internship or freelance work is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere).
• Interest in fintech, crypto, or financial products.
• Basic understanding of design systems and component-based design.
