Legic seeks a VP of Product Management for its Access Hardware Solutions (AHS) division in Rümlang, CH. The role oversees the AHS portfolio strategy, lifecycle, and team leadership.
This position provides strategic leadership for the Access Hardware Solutions (AHS) product family. The incumbent holds full accountability for the portfolio's business performance, defining its long-term vision and investment priorities. The role also involves guiding a dedicated team of Product Managers to ensure successful execution across the global market.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the long-term strategic vision for the AHS portfolio.
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and growth potential to guide decision-making.
- Develop and manage the global innovation roadmap and strategic direction for AHS.
- Determine portfolio priorities, allocate resources, and set investment focus areas.
- Create guidelines for product positioning, value propositions, pricing strategies, and offerings.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to execute the product roadmap.
- Ensure products are ready for launch and successful in global markets.
- Monitor and optimize portfolio performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, and competitiveness.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from inception to phase-out.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the AHS Product Management team.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years of experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Product Marketing, Business Development, or a similar leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success managing complex product portfolios within international matrix organizations.
- Extensive experience in product lifecycle management, covering strategy, development, launch, and retirement.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
- Several years of experience in people leadership, specifically in developing Product Management teams.
- Business fluent proficiency in English.
