Workplace IT Administrator

Cryptonow is hiring a Mid-level Workplace IT Administrator in Switzerland to manage IT infrastructure, device lifecycles, and user support while ensuring security and operational efficiency.

The company seeks an IT Administrator to oversee the technology infrastructure that enables daily business operations across the Cryptonow Group. This position focuses on managing the full lifecycle of employee devices, deploying applications, and maintaining the underlying infrastructure services to ensure seamless and secure access to technology for all staff members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of end-user devices, including initial enrollment, configuration, ongoing maintenance, replacement, and secure disposal, while coordinating laptop distribution.
• Utilize Microsoft Intune to enforce security standards, monitor compliance, and remediate device policy violations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 laptop support, troubleshooting hardware faults, software issues, and basic network or WLAN connectivity problems.
• Manage WLAN operations by handling access controls, resolving connectivity disruptions, and liaising with external service providers when necessary.
• Handle identity and access management tasks such as creating and removing user accounts and assigning least-privilege permissions, working closely with the HR department.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, including tracking assignments, managing stock, conducting audits, and documenting warranties, repairs, and lifecycle stages.
• Provide ICT training and onboarding guidance to employees regarding tools, devices, access rights, and security best practices, while keeping relevant documentation and policies up to date.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with MDM platforms, specifically Microsoft Intune.
• Solid knowledge of administering Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
• Fundamental understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Ability to administer Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
• Experience with Active Directory and user management tasks.
• Basic proficiency in scripting and automation techniques.
• Fluent command of both German and English.
