AI Software Engineer

Visium SA seeks a Senior AI Software Engineer in Lausanne to lead end-to-end AI projects, mentor the team, and drive engineering excellence in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Guide complex AI software engineering initiatives from initial scoping through to production deployment.
• Work with senior client stakeholders to convert business goals into effective technical strategies.
• Mentor team members via code reviews, pair programming, and direct technical guidance.
• Promote and enforce best practices in software engineering across all practice areas.
• Share knowledge internally through tech talks, documentation, and community sessions.
• Support internal research and development efforts to enhance Visiumee's capabilities.

Requirements

• Over five years of professional software engineering experience, primarily using Python.
• Proven experience in productionizing complex AI and ML projects, including LLMs, pipelines, and agents.
• Comprehensive understanding of the current AI ecosystem, including frameworks and emerging tools.
• Solid expertise in cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
