AI Solutions Architect

Terra Quantum seeks a Senior AI Solutions Architect to design and deploy LLM and machine learning systems for clients, acting as the primary technical liaison while ensuring scalability, compliance, and customer success.

In this senior role, the architect will lead the end-to-end delivery of large language model and machine learning solutions within client environments. The position requires bridging the gap between technical engineering and business needs, serving as the main point of contact for pre-sales activities, workshops, and long-term project support. The individual will ensure that deployed systems are production-ready, scalable, and aligned with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect, integrate, and oversee the deployment of LLM and machine learning models in client settings, guaranteeing they are scalable and ready for production use.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for client engagements, providing pre-sales support, conducting workshops, delivering presentations, and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Coordinate between customers, business development, engineering, research, and compliance departments to ensure technical delivery matches business requirements.
• Establish and enforce standards for data privacy, governance, and ethical AI, ensuring adherence to regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor researchers and engineers while contributing directly as an individual contributor.
• Juggle multiple concurrent projects to maintain high quality, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to client sites for meetings and project delivery as needed.
• Facilitate customer meetings to gather requirements, offer technical guidance, and align on project objectives.
• Lead workshops, demonstrations, and briefings for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Convert customer needs into precise specifications, deliverables, and comprehensive project documentation.
• Monitor production systems for model performance, addressing issues related to drift, bias, and fairness.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in data science, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling, including deploying models into production.
• Practical expertise with Large Language Models, including fine-tuning and integrating them into client systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, along with hands-on experience using ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, and Transformers.
• Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms, with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred, though AWS or Azure skills are also valued.
• Background in multi-cloud and hybrid integration environments.
• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and best practices for data governance.
• Proven experience interacting with customers in the US market, with the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in startup or high-growth company environments.

• A track record of academic publications, patents, or public speaking engagements in AI/ML.
• Familiarity with AI fairness, bias mitigation techniques, and explainability frameworks.
