Assistant Head of Technical Services (m/w/d)

Badrutt's Palace Hotel seeks a Senior Assistant Head of Technical Services in Sankt Moritz to oversee daily operations, lead the technical team, and manage maintenance projects in a luxury hospitality setting.

This senior role supports the Head of Technical Services in managing all technical aspects of the property, ensuring infrastructure runs safely and efficiently. The incumbent acts as the department leader during the Head's absence, coordinating both internal staff and external contractors to maintain high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable functioning of all building infrastructure.
• Direct daily technical operations, including maintenance schedules and repair tasks.
• Plan and execute renovation, construction, and investment projects.
• Assign daily tasks to the technical team while fostering professional development.
• Act as the deputy for the Head of Technical Services when needed.
• Manage relationships and performance of external service providers and contractors.
• Assist with cost control, purchasing, and long-term investment planning.
• Guarantee adherence to legal regulations, safety protocols, and internal company policies.
• Work with other departments to enhance energy efficiency and resource management.

Requirements

• Technical training with further education in building services, facility management, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in technical services or facility management, preferably in hospitality or complex environments.
• Prior experience in coordinating employees or small teams, with initial leadership skills being advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge covering building services, maintenance, energy efficiency, occupational safety, and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to support or coordinate maintenance, renovation, or construction initiatives.
• Structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using digital tools.
• Fluency in at least two of the following languages: English, German, and Italian.
