Associate Director, Marketing GI, Europe

Revolution Medicines seeks an Associate Director of Marketing for GI in Europe to lead launch preparation and tactical planning for daraxonrasib and future compounds across European markets.

The company is looking for a senior marketing leader to drive the European expansion of its gastrointestinal oncology portfolio. This role focuses on translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, identifying market opportunities, and supporting the successful launch of daraxonrasib and upcoming therapies across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement detailed marketing strategies to boost market share and drive growth throughout Europe.
  • Design tactical brand and disease-area plans grounded in thorough market research and competitive analysis.
  • Roll out the European marketing strategy using diverse channels such as digital campaigns, webinars, and industry events.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to create effective promotional content and activities.
  • Assist in organizing and executing the company's presence at major European commercial congresses to build product awareness and support launch efforts.
  • Collaborate with national marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and sales performance across European countries.
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to collect market insights, validate commercial strategies, and refine marketing tactics for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize key opinion leader networks to strengthen the company's scientific reputation and commercial standing in Europe.
  • Act as a company representative at international conferences and industry gatherings to promote oncology products and the organization's mission.
  • Work closely with cross-functional groups, including Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Quality, Compliance, and national teams, to execute integrated commercial plans.

Requirements

  • Possess an advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in biotechnology, life sciences, or business administration.
  • Have at least eight years of experience in marketing, sales, or product planning within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, with a specific focus on oncology.
  • Demonstrate a track record of successfully launching and commercializing products in European markets, particularly in major territories like Spain or Italy.
  • Show proven capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an international context.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities alongside significant project management expertise.
  • Display excellent communication, customer interaction, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a proven history of developing and sustaining relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Be able to convert deep scientific knowledge and customer insights into creative promotional strategies.
  • Be willing to travel internationally as required.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, pragmatic, and rapidly evolving biotech environment.
