Associate Planner (Fixed Term Maternity Cover)

VF International seeks an Associate Planner for a fixed-term maternity cover role in Stabio, Switzerland. This position supports Demand & Supply Planning through data management, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination.

This fixed-term assignment sits within the Planning team at the Stabio, Switzerland location. The primary purpose is to provide operational support to Demand and Supply Planning functions, ensuring data integrity and facilitating smooth coordination between sales, merchandising, and supply teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update demand planning data and associated reports
• Help consolidate forecasts, validate data, and handle reporting tasks
• Work with Sales, Merchandising, and other departments to gather and verify planning inputs
• Create regular planning reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Track forecast accuracy and assist in identifying root causes for deviations
• Monitor seasonal KPIs such as excess inventory, shortages, and on-time delivery to drive improvements
• Join seasonal consensus meetings with the Supply team
• Support supply planning efforts to meet product availability and inventory targets
• Track purchase orders and production status
• Help manage exceptions, shortages, and supply constraints
• Keep planning parameters and master data current in planning systems
• Collaborate with Global Supply Planning, Sourcing, and Inventory teams for operational execution
• Assist in preparing for S&OP and other planning meetings
• Ensure data accuracy across all planning tools and systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization projects
• Support ad-hoc analyses and business projects as needed

Requirements

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• Fluent English skills, both verbal and written
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment
• Ability to process large volumes of data from various sources
• Skill in interpreting and challenging complex data sets
