Bristol Myers Squibb in Boudry, CH seeks an Associate Stability Scientist to manage stability studies, ensure cGMP compliance, and support regulatory commitments.

This position supports the stability team in executing stability program activities for both existing and new products. The role is designed to help the organization achieve its defined business and company goals through effective study management and data oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee stability study inventory, including sample receipt, placement under specific conditions, timepoint scheduling, and reconciliation.
  • Assist in reviewing stability data and identifying trends.
  • Determine annual stability requirements from manufacturing sites using relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate on the development of sample management programs, logistics, and stability protocols.
  • Verify the accuracy of LIMS builds for sample management.
  • Draft, update, and submit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for approval.
  • Prepare technical report sections for sample storage and management details, particularly for Out of Specification (OOS) or Out of Trend (OOT) investigations.
  • Write and revise annual stability requirement documents (PAR/QSR, SAR/YER).
  • Promptly escalate any stability program issues that could affect lab capacity, product studies, or regulatory commitments to management.
  • Identify training needs for ongoing stability activities and ensure team members meet these requirements.
  • Support stability storage chamber maintenance by coordinating with contractors and maintenance staff, logging work orders, and maintaining environmental records.
  • Enter test results from contract laboratories into stability study management systems.
  • Provide administrative support for departmental training, financial, filing, and archiving processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific field.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory principles.
  • Ability to work in compliance with cGMP requirements and Health Authority (HA) expectations.
  • Capacity to interact effectively with inspectors during facility tours.
