Business Development Manager in Optimization

HEG seeks a Business Development Manager in Optimization for its new Swiss entity in Sion. The role combines commercial strategy with technical leadership in optimization and machine learning to drive growth across multiple sectors.

This position supports the launch and expansion of HEG’s new Swiss operations. The successful candidate will apply analytical expertise and business development strategies to assist clients in making informed decisions, bridging the gap between complex technical solutions and market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define commercial strategies and execute proactive business development initiatives to establish the new Swiss subsidiary.
• Identify key market targets and develop approaches to capture new business opportunities.
• Collaborate on creating optimization solutions tailored for energy, transport, pharmaceutical, financial, and manufacturing industries.
• Acquire new clients by utilizing personal and corporate networks.
• Oversee projects with significant technical elements, including optimization algorithms and machine learning applications.
• Research and implement novel optimization techniques.
• Direct and mentor high-level engineering teams.
