Business Development Manager

Onward Medical seeks a Business Development Manager to expand its distributor network across Europe, MENA, and key global markets, driving clinical adoption of neurorehabilitation technologies.

This position focuses on growing the company's reach by managing and developing distribution partners in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as other strategic regions. The role combines partner enablement with a deep understanding of therapeutic applications to support clinical adoption and revenue growth for innovative neurorehabilitation solutions. The position offers location flexibility, allowing the successful candidate to be based anywhere within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and manage distribution partners in line with the go-to-market strategy.
• Deliver comprehensive product and clinical training to partner teams.
• Work with distributors to create territory plans, drive therapy awareness, educate the market, and meet revenue targets.
• Track partner performance and provide strategic advice to improve focus and execution.
• Intervene directly in underperforming regions or to resolve specific market challenges.
• Assist local partners with after-sales activities, including product setup, follow-up training, and therapy pathway development.
• Coordinate with internal departments on pricing, tender submissions, and reimbursement processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, rehabilitation clinics, and patient organizations.
• Represent the company at international trade shows and industry events.
• Share field insights, clinical feedback, and regulatory observations with internal teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Clinical, and Regulatory departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, rehabilitation, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience managing distribution partners in EMEA and MENA regions.
• Strong understanding of therapy delivery models in clinical and home environments.
• Experience supporting the launch of novel, non-reimbursed healthcare technologies.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for partner visits, events, and regional support.

Nice to have

• Background as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in rehabilitation, DME, or related medical fields.
• Knowledge of other EMEA languages.
