Business Intelligence Engineer

J. Safra Sarasin seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer to develop PowerBI dashboards and define data strategies. This onsite role in Switzerland requires strong Microsoft BI expertise and collaboration with business departments.

This position focuses on partnering with business units to translate their needs into effective data reporting solutions that drive decision-making. The engineer joins a skilled team where innovation and continuous professional development are actively encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain interactive dashboards using PowerBI
• Define the long-term vision for data strategy and product development
• Oversee daily data processing workflows and resolve technical issues
• Advise on improvements to enhance current business intelligence workflows
• Provide specialized BI support for key strategic initiatives
• Keep comprehensive records of all business intelligence procedures

Requirements

• A university degree or FH qualification in IT Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
• At least five years of hands-on experience in the Business Intelligence field
• Proficiency with the Microsoft BI Development Suite, including SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI
• Fluent command of the English language
