Business Operations (Intern / Working Student)

Adaptyv seeks a Business Operations Intern to support founders and operations with workflow automation, customer onboarding, and lab logistics in Lausanne.

Adaptyv is developing an automated laboratory where AI agents conduct biological experiments. As one of the fastest-growing biotech firms, it partners with major biopharmas and AI labs. This hands-on generalist role allows you to work directly with the founders and operations team on practical projects across the company.

Responsibilities

• Apply AI tools to streamline manual, disorganized, or slow workflows
• Assist in onboarding new customers to the platform
• Handle finance administration tasks
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers
• Support logistics for the new Lausanne lab expansion
• Help organize events, customer visits, and internal coordination
• Develop lightweight tools and automations using Claude Code, Python, Notion, or no-code solutions

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program
• Entrepreneurial and self-directed mindset
• Strong proficiency with AI tools, especially Claude Code or Codex
• Hands-on, organized, and reliable
• Comfortable switching between different types of work and taking ownership
• Comfortable jumping between projects, responsibilities, and urgent operational needs

Nice to have

• A background in biology is not a hard requirement, but a genuine interest in the life sciences is important
