Takeda Pharma AG seeks a Senior Business Process Lead for ERP Supply Chain Order Management in Zürich. This role oversees global Order-to-Cash processes, managing IT projects, system design, and stakeholder alignment to drive digital efficiency.
The company is looking for a global process owner to manage the end-to-end Order to Cash workflow, from initial customer order placement through to final billing and invoicing. The primary goal of this position is to lead the Supply Chain team in becoming a leader in digital business processes, ensuring operations are efficient, compliant, and simplified through the strategic use of technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize Supply Chain IT initiatives, including system enhancements, break-fix resolutions, and new customer setups, while coordinating closely with Global Supply Chain functions and Takeda IT.
- Review and approve system design documents, change requests, and break-fix solutions.
- Maintain ownership of Global Operating Procedures (GOPs) and process flows, or collaborate with GOP owners in other departments outside of GSC-Systems and Data.
- Lead the Community of Practice and develop global training plans for Order to Cash systems and tools.
- Support the Supply Chain Academy.
- Drive employee adoption of key initiatives and operating model changes across the Supply Chain organization and Local Operating Companies (LOCs) to maximize value realization.
- Gather and align business requirements from GSC functions and LOCs for Supply Chain IT systems, ensuring alignment with Takeda IT.
- Collaborate on system design to optimize business processes.
- Oversee the development and deployment of systems for all global LOCs and GSC-related processes.
- Align the long-term customer service strategy with Takeda’s overall corporate strategy.
- Work with Takeda IT to identify innovative solutions that support patient-centric supply chains.
Requirements
- A degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least five years of relevant experience within a Supply Chain or Supply Chain IT organization, with a solid understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash processes and internal controls.
- Minimum five years of experience with SAP, specifically in Sales & Distribution, covering sales order management, pricing, incentive management, and invoicing, along with a general understanding of Inventory/Warehouse Management and interfaces.
- Experience in Change Management activities, including change impact assessments, business readiness assessments, and communication.
- Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders across different levels and functions.
- Ability to establish productive and collaborative relationships among multiple stakeholders from cross-functions.
- Strong accountability to prepare and execute work plans with the ability to proactively identify and effectively address problems to achieve successful outcomes.
- Ability to reach decisions that balance company objectives with key stakeholders’ needs while leveraging available resources to propose efficient and effective solutions.
- Ability to continuously improve leadership and management skills to enhance contribution of self and others.
- Ability to maintain composure during challenging times and identify themes in feedback received from others and adjust behavior accordingly.
