Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Cell Therapy Operations and Account Manager for a field-based role in Switzerland. The position involves managing the onboarding and ongoing support of CAR T centers, developing account plans, and ensuring alignment with national brand strategies and regulatory standards.
The Manager, Cell Therapy Operations and Account Manager (CTOAM) is essential to the commercial success of Bristol Myers Squibb’s cell therapies in Switzerland. This role oversees the nationwide onboarding of CAR T centers, coordinates cross-functional efforts, and supports continuous improvement of center capabilities in line with current standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate site-specific steps for onboarding, launching, and supporting BMS’s cell therapies across all Swiss centers.
- Lead the onboarding process for selected centers by collaborating with internal BMS teams and site stakeholders, including clinical staff, ICU, pharmacy, lab, supply, purchasing, and operations.
- Engage with CAR T centers not yet onboarded to assess their needs and capacity, and develop tailored onboarding plans with clear timelines.
- Maintain regular communication with site stakeholders to ensure customer feedback is heard, issues are resolved promptly, and ideas for improving patient and customer satisfaction are explored.
- Manage ongoing contracts with sites, including renewals and addendums.
- Ensure all onboarding and capacity updates comply with BMS’s regulatory and legal requirements.
- Act as Site Champion by aligning all related activities—medical, marketing, regulatory, quality, market access, and market preparation—at the site level.
- Contextualize BMS products appropriately, guide optimal patient selection, and implement brand messages and tactics to support treatment success and satisfaction.
- Drive operational excellence and innovation, including customer-friendly solutions, process improvements, and enhancements to the CTDP.
- Work closely with CAR T centers to manage awareness and expectations around slot availability and demand.
- Collaborate with the TA Head, other CTOAMs, and MSL Manager to ensure a unified, center-specific field approach.
- Track brand performance and customer satisfaction using KPIs.
- Understand all relevant processes within CAR T centers and the referral network.
- Identify local referral patterns and patient flow.
- Recognize barriers in the referral process and create strategies to improve access for eligible patients, in collaboration with the field team.
- Develop and execute the referral strategy in coordination with the TA Head.
- Create strategic plans for CAR T treaters, referrers, and Multi-Disciplinary Hospital Networks.
- Host meetings and events to promote BMS’s cellular therapies and educate on operational and referral processes, using multi-channel approaches with Thought Leaders and key stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities and contribute innovative ideas to strategic brand plans to address market challenges.
- Ensure consistent cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access teams to align with brand strategy and foster a 'One Team, One Voice' approach.
- Own national sales and market share targets.
- Coordinate and execute key projects within the assigned territory.
- Stay informed on emerging hematology trends to shape future national strategy, learning locally and applying insights nationally.
- Collect insights to ensure BMS’s cell therapies are administered safely and effectively across different care settings, while delivering a best-in-class customer experience and product success.
- Gather site-level insights to support accurate demand planning and national slot allocation, in collaboration with the TA Head.
Requirements
- Background in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or medical/nursing fields.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries, including account management, marketing, commercial, or medical roles.
- Fluency in English and German (written and spoken), with oral proficiency in French.
- Strong project management and leadership abilities.
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of regional healthcare provider organizations and market dynamics.
- In-depth knowledge of hematology markets and disease landscapes.
- Awareness of and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing business activities.
