Pfizer AG seeks a Trade Account Manager for a remote role in Switzerland. The position focuses on commercial account management, tender coordination, and KOL engagement within mid-size markets, excluding promotional duties.
This position is central to advancing commercial performance across mid-size markets. The incumbent will oversee major accounts, coordinate tenders, and support forecasting while cultivating relationships with key opinion leaders. The scope is strictly commercial, focusing on partnerships with hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics rather than promotional activities.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate trust-based partnerships with decision-makers and stakeholders at major national accounts.
- Create customized action plans for each account that align with corporate goals and local market potential.
- Oversee key accounts, manage tender processes, handle pricing inquiries, support forecasting, and maintain connections with top KOLs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build integrated account strategies tailored to mid-size market dynamics and Pfizer's portfolio.
- Establish and sustain relationships with influencers and stakeholders across healthcare institutions and distribution networks.
- Position Pfizer as a strategic partner by highlighting product value regarding patient outcomes, system efficiency, and economic impact.
- Act as the primary liaison for internal departments (medical, access, marketing, compliance, IT, customer service) to ensure seamless strategy execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and policy shifts to adapt strategies and uncover new opportunities.
- Track account metrics, report progress, and refine plans to meet commercial targets and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in pharmaceutical key account management, ideally within mid-size or emerging markets.
- Background working with biopharma portfolios, including specialty care, vaccines, or hospital products.
- Knowledge of tendering procedures, distributor management, and public-private partnerships in mid-size markets.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and market conditions.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to manage complex accounts and collaborate effectively within matrix organizations.
- Proficiency with CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Fluency in German and English; French is preferred.
