Pierre Fabre (Suisse) S.A. seeks a Senior Commercial Excellence Analyst in Basel to drive data-led decision-making and optimize commercial performance through rigorous analysis and strategic reporting.

This position serves as a critical partner to senior leadership by transforming complex commercial data into actionable insights. The analyst is responsible for evaluating performance metrics, monitoring investment efficiency, and providing the evidence base that guides high-level strategic choices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate key commercial indicators such as revenue streams, profit margins, pricing structures, and return on investment.
• Track promotional activities and trade spending to measure uplift and assess margin impact.
• Enhance field force effectiveness by conducting territory analyses, defining segmentation strategies, and monitoring performance targets.
• Develop and sustain centralized dashboards that act as the primary reference point for the General Manager and commercial departments.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources teams to align on commercial goals.
• Assist Key Account Managers in preparing negotiation materials and supporting Joint Business Plan (JBP) customer planning.

Requirements

• Hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
• Possess at least five years of professional experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, Revenue Growth Management, or Commercial Analytics.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and financial capabilities to convert raw data into clear, strategic recommendations.
• Be proficient in Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau and Power BI, as well as MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
• Have fluent English communication skills.
• Showcase excellent interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and work effectively within a team.

Nice to have

• Prior experience or knowledge in the Dermo-Cosmetics, CHC, FMCG, or Pharmaceutical sectors.
• Additional language proficiency in German or French.
