Julius Bär seeks a Senior Communication Specialist in Zürich to manage high-impact internal and external messaging for Region Heads in Western Markets & Switzerland.
This position serves as a central hub for regional decision-making, ensuring that all executive-level communications maintain consistency, quality, and precise timing. The specialist supports the Region Heads for Western Markets and Switzerland by driving strategic messaging that aligns with broader business goals.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver executive communications for Region Heads, including speeches, board updates, media contributions, and event briefings.
- Serve as the primary writer and editor for formal documents and presentations under the Region Heads’ names, ensuring brand compliance and tonal appropriateness.
- Oversee the full production cycle of communications, from initial concept and drafting through editorial approval, translation coordination, and multi-channel distribution.
- Develop and implement integrated communication strategies to support major business milestones, change initiatives, and leadership engagements.
- Design engaging content formats such as slide decks, infographics, video scripts, podcasts, and digital features to improve reach and retention among employees and clients.
- Collaborate with Market Leaders and regional stakeholders to align messaging, gather local insights, and amplify key themes across Western Markets and Switzerland.
Requirements
- University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or journalism.
- Proven track record of managing executive communications within complex organizations.
- Native or fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Direct experience working closely with senior executives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and narrative-building skills.
- Expertise in creating content for various channels, including print, digital, presentation, and broadcast.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Discretion and ethical conduct when handling confidential and sensitive information.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Spanish.
- Experience within the wealth management or financial services sector.
