Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global media relations strategy while cultivating strong relationships with key journalists worldwide.
- Serve as a primary company spokesperson, advising executives on media engagements, speaking opportunities, and executive messaging.
- Produce high-quality content such as press releases, speeches, interview materials, and stories for the Annual Report and financial communications.
- Manage issues and crisis communications, proactively protecting the company’s reputation by monitoring social, economic, regulatory, and political trends.
- Craft compelling narratives that enhance Schindler’s standing and collaborate with global teams to align business stories with strategic goals.
Requirements
- A university degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Over ten years of experience in corporate communications and media relations within international settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in reputation, issues, and crisis management.
- An extensive network within Swiss media and a deep understanding of the international media landscape.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities in both English and German.
