Julius Bär seeks a Senior Executive Assistant to provide strategic administrative and operational support to the Market Head for Intermediaries in Western Switzerland & Americas. Hybrid role based in Geneva or Zurich.
This position serves as a trusted partner to the Market Head Intermediaries Western Switzerland & Americas, blending high-level administrative duties with core business management tasks. The successful candidate will ensure seamless daily operations, act as a strategic liaison, and support the execution of local growth strategies while maintaining the highest standards of discretion and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage the Market Head’s calendar, including scheduling, prioritizing appointments, and resolving conflicts.
- Prepare meeting agendas, briefing documents, presentations, and talking points for internal and external engagements.
- Coordinate complex travel logistics, including itineraries, visas, accommodations, and expense reporting.
- Organize high-quality internal and external events for team members and clients with meticulous attention to detail.
- Act as the primary gatekeeper by screening communications and handling sensitive correspondence with discretion.
- Serve as the liaison between the Geneva office and headquarters to ensure alignment on policies and change initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, HR, Compliance, and Legal for documentation and approvals.
- Monitor key performance indicators and compile weekly or monthly reports.
- Facilitate governance processes by organizing management committee meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining minutes.
- Assist in the execution of local growth strategies under the guidance of the Market Head.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and digital transformation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Relations, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in executive support or business coordination, preferably in private banking or financial services.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between Zurich and Geneva.
Nice to have
- Prior experience within the private banking or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or German.
