SIX Financial Information seeks a Senior Executive Assistant to support the Head of Banking Services in Zürich. This hybrid role involves high-level coordination, team leadership, and strategic partnership.
This position functions as a strategic partner to the Head of the Business Unit Banking Services, who sits on the SIX Group Executive Board. The role extends beyond standard administrative duties to actively drive prioritization, coordinate complex initiatives, and serve as a central hub for connecting people and decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Banking Services, helping to shape priorities and facilitate effective decision-making.
- Oversee the executive office operations, including managing complex calendars, filtering inboxes, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel.
- Prepare for and follow up on leadership meetings and offsite events to ensure smooth execution.
- Take ownership of team-wide coordination topics and lead key operational initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small executive support team located in Poland.
- Assume additional project responsibilities based on individual experience and career goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting C-level executives in fast-paced corporate, consulting, or banking sectors.
- Exceptional communication abilities to build trust and credibility with senior leaders.
- Strong business acumen and sound judgment to navigate ambiguous situations.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a high degree of personal accountability.
- Prior experience leading small teams in a remote environment.
- Superior organizational and coordination skills, balancing a service-oriented approach with assertiveness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital collaboration platforms.
- Fluency in both German and English.
