Community Manager

Airapps seeks a Community Manager in Zürich to build and engage its global user community. The mid-level, full-time onsite role focuses on strategy, moderation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Airapps, a self-funded startup with over 100 million downloads, is developing the first AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner. This position supports that mission by cultivating a vibrant, supportive user base across digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement strategies to expand and sustain user communities.
• Oversee and moderate discussions on forums, social platforms, and user groups.
• Interact with users by answering questions, guiding conversations, and encouraging constructive participation.
• Plan and publicize community events, webinars, and Q&A sessions.
• Partner with marketing, product, and support departments to enhance the overall user journey.
• Track and evaluate community metrics to refine engagement approaches.
• Spot and empower brand advocates, ambassadors, and power users.
• Keep current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in community management.
• Establish and uphold community rules to maintain a secure and inclusive environment.
• Resolve user issues and escalate complex problems to relevant teams.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in community management, social media, or customer engagement.
• Proven track record of managing online communities, forums, or social media groups (e.g., Discord, Reddit, Facebook Groups, Slack, or custom platforms).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire users.
• Familiarity with community-building tools and analytics platforms.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations, mediate conflicts, and enforce community guidelines.
• Experience planning and executing community-driven events or initiatives.
• Passion for building meaningful relationships and fostering brand loyalty.
• Ability to analyze engagement data and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Experience in fast-paced digital environments with a user-centric mindset.
