Accelleron Industries seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist for intralogistics and SCM Quality in Baden, CH. The role focuses on optimizing operations across warehouse and supply chain processes, driving efficiency through Lean and continuous improvement methods. The position offers flexible working models and is part of the Supply & Value Chain Excellence unit.
This role is responsible for enhancing core operations across the value chain, including intralogistics, warehouse activities, and supply chain quality. Based in Baden, it reports to the Head of SCM Quality and Intralogistics and sits at the intersection of operations, logistics, and quality, aiming to bring structure and continuous improvement to complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead small to mid-sized improvement projects in intralogistics, warehouse operations, and SCM Quality
- Assess material flows, processes, and KPIs to uncover inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Implement enhancements across inbound logistics, storage, picking, internal transport, and quality-related workflows
- Collaborate directly with shopfloor teams to introduce lasting process improvements
- Support and lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives, including Yellow Belt-level activities
- Facilitate structured workshops such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and problem-solving sessions
- Work with internal departments (logistics, production, quality, purchasing) and external partners to streamline end-to-end processes
- Set up, monitor, and report on KPIs to ensure ongoing performance visibility and improvement
- Develop standardized processes and roll out scalable best practices across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 1 to 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, production, or similar operational roles
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage directly with operations and shopfloor teams
- Proven ability to take initiative and manage improvement topics independently
- Strong capability to organize complex tasks, set priorities, and deliver results
- Proactive mindset: identifies problems, acts on them, and drives solutions to completion
- High motivation and readiness to go beyond standard expectations to achieve goals
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and SAP systems
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
Nice to have
- Prior experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with process analysis and problem-solving techniques such as 8D, Ishikawa, or 5 Why
