Datwyler seeks an intern for its Group Continuous Improvement team in Schattdorf, CH. This 6-month role focuses on supporting CI governance, documentation, and capability building within a global industrial context.
This six-month internship is part of the Group Functions, offering practical experience in developing the Continuous Improvement (CI) system and supporting capability building. The position provides hands-on exposure to how an international industrial group drives performance improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain CI governance standards, templates, and documentation in line with the global CI framework.
- Organize and structure CI materials, such as methodologies, training content, and project documentation, into a centralized repository.
- Review CI documents to ensure alignment with Group standards and Lean best practices, promoting harmonization across sites.
- Assist in creating training materials, problem-solving guides, and learning modules to support CI capability building.
- Support the global CI network by preparing communications, tracking deliverables, and assisting with meetings, workshops, and best practice sharing sessions.
- Help monitor CI performance by collecting and structuring KPIs, project pipelines, and maturity assessment inputs.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a BSc or MSc program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Management & Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be enrolled at a university in Switzerland during the internship period.
- Fluent in English at a C1 level.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
