Incyte seeks an Intern for Operational Excellence & LEAN Quality in Morges, CH. The role supports LEAN deployment and continuous improvement across Global Technical Operations.
This internship supports the Global Technical Operations organization in implementing LEAN and Operational Excellence methodologies. The position aims to foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing overall performance through close collaboration with the Operational Excellence team and cross-departmental stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and refresh Operational Excellence dashboards using platforms like OE Cockpit, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
- Monitor LEAN projects and track their resulting benefits.
- Help build and expand the Lean Six Sigma resource library, including templates, tools, and micro-learning content.
- Assist teams in establishing and tracking key performance indicators to measure efficiency and performance.
- Support the rollout of Visual Management techniques and identify improvement opportunities within Global Technical Operations.
- Document and disseminate best practices and success stories across the organization.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Management of Technology, Operations Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and change management.
- Understanding of core Lean concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong analytical abilities and a structured approach to thinking.
- Effective communication and presentation capabilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders in a global setting.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint or Smartsheet is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Prior experience or knowledge of SharePoint or Smartsheet.
